LabsLand Prism4 is a modular structure for remote laboratories. The LPEQ0004 STM Nucleo WB55RG Kit for Prism4 is a kit that can be installed on a Prism4, designed for hosting 8 STM32 boards.
The LPEQ0004 STM Nucleo WB55RG Kit for Prism4 includes:
2 mounting plates that host 2 LabsLand PCBs that support 4 Nucleo STM32 boards each (8 total), like the ones on the photo on the right.
Controllers to support:
GPIO control (simulating switches, buttons, and other peripherals)
Power consumption measurement
Additional hardware peripherals:
Standard LEDs and RGB LED
LCD screen
Servomotor
It does NOT include:
A Prism4 structure (bought separately).
LPEQ004 Mounting plates: front (left), where the Nucleo-WB55RG boards are installed and back (right), where the electronics that control the baords are available.
The way students will use the laboratory is similar to the video on the left, or in general resources available in LCAL0004. The difference is that:
By purchasing an LPEQ0004 STM Nucleo WB55RG Kit, the hosting university or company has 75 licenses per quarter for their own students. For example, if a class has 200 students, if they have 3 Prism4 with 3 LPEQ0004, they will be able to use it with up to 225 students without buying licenses; or they can alternatively buy 2 Prism4 with 2 LPEQ0004 (which includes 150 licenses) and separately purchase 50 LCAL0004 licenses.
The hosting university or company will have priority access over their own resources. Still, if all their resources are busy or there is an outage, students will go to the same equipment in other universities.
